I took my AIDA2 certification with Alessandro in 2023. He is such a good guy and great instructor: clear, passionate, patient, friendly and last but not least he is definitely the man you want besides you in deep waters.

I wanted to give this review for Ale because of the absolute joy he gave me in freediving. I am an assistant instructor, wave 3 freediver. Ale was the main driving force behind my huge improvements not only in depth but in the pool. When I do a sport I try and find the best of the best as I am I fitness coach myself and I know the improvement you can get paying for the services of someone skilled in their craft. Ale is seriously one of the most professional, relaxed, yet firm teachers I’ve ever had freediving. He just goes above and beyond for his students.
Cares deeply about how you’re progressing/feeling and learning. He makes learning super easy with great analogies. He is super humble and a very skilled diver himself yet you will only find that out from other great divers! I still feel very indebted to ale for all he passed onto me and I feel privileged to be able to say I was taught by ale. If you’re looking to just learn freediving or learn advanced freediving this is THE guy

I met Alessandro when I was taking the AIDA 4 course in Kalamata. With his experience, he immediately noticed my pain points and suggested the right approach. He introduced me to the Deep course, and I’ve been practicing it ever since. Every session with him led to progress because he patiently explained what I needed to correct and guided me in the right direction. For me, it’s really important that an instructor stays relaxed because mastering these techniques takes time, and it’s not something you can perfect overnight. If you’re looking for an equalization master, he’s the one. For me, it was like going from zero to hero, and since then, I haven’t had any equalization problems, and my diving has improved a lot.

I took a mouthfill class in French with Alessandro. He is a great teacher. He explained each step of the technique so That it became understandable to me who had never worked on it. He used many practical exercises, so that it wasn’t just theory. He solved my blockages one by one by adapting the course. Very nice person, very good coach.

I did the equalisation course with Alessandro in 2023. It was a great pleasure to finally have a real understanding of my equalisation mistakes after years of incorrect protocols. Alessandro taught me in great detail the correct process of deep equalisation and gave me the tools to work on a corrective path. When I was diving in the mid 40m range I tried switching by myself from frenzel to mouthfill equalisation but was not able to replicate my own dry training in the water. Ale stepped in and patiently spent time with me in and out of the water to assess my technique and gave me exercises to isolate and fix the mistakes that I was making. I am now diving to 80m with constant pressure equalisation and will be forever grateful for his help unlocking these new depths for me!
